Purpose of the Role Our Chocolate Tasters are key in helping Mondelez perfect and launch an entirely new product all over the world by tasting and providing feedback just like our consumers. You will work alongside approximately 11 Chocolate Tasters and a panel leader; sharing opinions and collaborating with others to reach an agreement on taste. No experience is required as full training will be provided to develop your taste buds and the specific vocabulary required to communicate your opinions. Please be aware that this is a part time position with positions available to work either 7.5 hours Tuesday-Thursday 12.15pm-2.45pm; 8 hours Monday-Thursday 3pm-5pm or 8 hours Monday-Thursday 10am-12pm on a weekly ongoing basis. This means that we have the agility and autonomy of being in a small company whilst enjoying the development and growth of being in a large multinational organisation.   We have a fantastic opportunity for a Material Science Technical Expert to join our team.    The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert, technical leadership and scientific consultancy specialising in physical sciences and material characterisation.    The role requires in-depth knowledge of rheology and particle characterisation which is underpinned by hands-on experience of particle sizing from nano to micron range (Malvern Masterziser / Zetasizer), flow/deformation behaviour of materials and powders (shear cell and rheometers), shape, specific surface area and dynamic vapor sorption.  This knowledge is used to drive improved technology and translate concepts into creation of new products, improving production processes and solving manufacturing problems. The responsibilities of the role are to supervise complex projects including a practical input, to keep abreast of scientific developments, represent and influence at relevant external industry events and ensure our services remain leading edge across various industries. Additionally, the role holder will demonstrate inspirational technical leadership to develop the next generation of physical scientists using a range of on the job training, coaching and mentoring activities as appropriate. Qualifications Qualification and Role Requirements:   The successful candidate will be a technical expert in Material Science with extensive experience in rheology and particle characterisation underpinned by strong academic achievement preferable to PhD. About the role The Administrative Coordinator is responsible for helping to coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments and customers supporting Sales, R & D, Supply Chain & Marketing in daily activities. Key responsibilities Primary contact for all visitors/vendors/deliveries to Mayfield Heights office. All office maintenance responsibilities which include being primary contact with building management for all communications, responsible for maintenance & repairs of facilities on 3rd floor, lab and gym. Order and distribute all supplies including office, kitchen and cleaning. Maintain and update address and phone list. Update & communicate senior leadership calendars on weekly basis. Support Office Manager with event planning, meeting set up, catering needs. Support functional managers and directors with departmental needs. Enter sample requests in Salesforce for sales team & route to appropriate departments to keep shipments moving in an expeditious manner. Sort incoming mail, route invoices and handle late payments as needed. Maintain and update Pitney Bowes, UPS Worldship & keep all shipping supplies replenished. Mail international documents or priority documents via UPS (trackable) Make sure all sample requests and paperwork are prepared for pickup by 3:30 pm Provide separate shipping documents for Australia, Mexico and any other country that requires it. Look up specific tariff codes as necessary for food items. Handle shipping problems as they arise. Initiates and/or completes all correspondence, paperwork or data entry associated with new vendors as necessary to support department managers Maintains billing and shipping files. Compliance with federal, state, local and Company rules and regulations regarding safety, health and environmental matters Filing BRs and retains and discarding old ones Perform other duties as required Qualifications and skills High School Diploma or GED; AAS in relevant field preferred. 1-3 years relevant experience. Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge. Organization and multi-tasking ability. Able to manage multiple priorities. Effective communication ( internal and external/ written and oral). Key responsibilities The Tax Manager is extremely important to our team.  You will be responsible for management of the US tax team, which consists of tax professionals across the disciplines of Property Tax, GST, Direct Tax and R&D Credits.  Implementing US related tax planning projects, and management of US tax audits will part of this position.  As a team member, you will be responsible for providing tax advice in respect of US mergers and acquisitions activity and related restructuring.  You will also be a member of the global tax leadership group.  As a team member, you will be responsible for supporting the tax team based in Tralee, Ireland and the wider international finance team to identify tax issues, risks and planning opportunities.  As a team member you will prepare technical research, including preparing and maintaining tax analyses and technical papers, to support tax filing positions.  Providing tax support to the business and finance teams in the US is also part of this position.  You will be responsible for management of the corporate tax compliance and the sales and use tax compliance process as well to ensure accurate accounting of current and deferred tax in the group statutory accounts along the with the support of the tax accountants on the US tax team. Qualifications and skills There are a few requirements you’ll need to be successful in this job: A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and/or Finance is required.  A CPA, ACA or ACCA or CIMA is preferred. Do you have experience in Tax?  We prefer 7 plus year’s experience for this position in a multinational company and/or Big 4 experience.  Do you have experience managing a team?  We prefer prior management experience as you will manage a team in this role. Do you have an interest in developing International Tax knowledge?  We prefer prior experience but is not a requirement as you will be working with our Global Tax team.  Do you know the value of a great team?
