The Human Resources Department is responsible for the development, implementation and administration of all Human Resources policies and programs to support the all over business in Wieze. The HR Officer will support the HR Director and the HR Business Partners in their daily activities regarding training, absenteeism, procedures and other HR related questions. Furthermore, the HR Officer will perform HR Projects related to staff and organizational development, and will participate in communication and events of the HR department. Responsibilities: The HR officer will: - Provide daily operational HR support and respond to inquiries and requests for information; - Support and assist the HR Director in his daily responsibilities and ensure a smooth progress of the office operations and procedures; - Take care of communication (eg. social media, BCNet…) and events in the HR department and participate actively to guarantee a fluent course of the events; - Support the HR Business Partners regarding questions about policies and procedures, training and development programs, performance management processes and payments in SAP; - Take care of the coordination and follow-up of the Works Council, CPBW and Syndical Delegation (agenda, minutes, coordination) in collaboration with other departments; - Follow-up on attendance and absenteeism in conjunction with the HR Business Partners and draft HR letters and documents (job descriptions, maternity leave, parental leave etc.); - Format and timely distribute various reports (eg. Works Council, safety committee, etc.); - Coordinate HR Projects with regards to audits, trainings, surveys… Competencies: - Bachelor’s degree in HR or/and proven experience as an HR officer, staff assistant or relevant human resources/administrative position; - 4 -5 years’ experience in HR team in international environment; - Good economical understanding; - Strong understanding of dealing with Works Councils and social partners; - Ability to work autonomously and assist in more complex HR duties, such as assisting in communication, coordinating training programs; - Strong communication skills in Dutch, French and English; - Excellent time management, prioritization and organizational skills; - Effective problem solver, demonstrating initiative and good judgment; - Good PC literacy (MS Office).
