DIANA is organized in three business units, which correspond to its targeted markets: Food, Pet Food, Aquaculture, and Nova, our unique incubator for innovation in health and nutrition.
Reporting to the President of DIANA, you will have the following tasks:
Coach and Train the Global Leadership Team (GLT) Safety Steering Committee on how to establish and foster a Diana Safety culture;
Complete the Group safety policy with BU safety experts to change people mindset and embark people at all level in the organization;
Define with BU safety experts the requirements in terms of safety and working conditions for the protection of people, assets, and environment. Control and ensure a complete deployment;
Help assessing the risks and propose the necessary prevention, protection and improvement plans according to standards and good practices (organizational, technical and behavioral);
Ensure the communication and training on hazards, risks, prevention and protection measures.
Define, harmonize or complete the Group safety policy and strategy with BU safety experts to change people mindset and embark people at all level in the organization
-Continuously improve our management system and OHS performance -Determine and review OHS goals on an annual basis to achieve our target of zero workplace injuries and illnesses -Inform, educate and motivate all Group employees about this policy and their OHS obligations -Review this policy on an annual basis to ensure its relevance and appropriateness -Develop a network of internal and external experts (suppliers, insurance companies, brokers...); -Define digital tools requirements to better manage safety
Define with BU safety experts the requirements in terms of safety and working conditions for the protection of people, assets, and environment
-Provide operational support to the engineering team in terms of compliance of facilities or product with European and international environmental regulatory standards -Make recommendations to the various departments concerning the design of the site or the product, the choice of equipment or raw materials, the definition of the working methods -Track regulatory changes -Manage working group sessions
Help assessing the risks and propose the necessary prevention, protection and improvement plans according to standards and good practices (organizational, technical and behavioral)
-Identify the hazards and assess the level of OHS risk, and apply the necessary measures to eliminate or control them as low as possible -Maintain appropriate OSH prevention programs for each of its plants and factories, in accordance with applicable legislation -Establish and implement standards, good practices, prevention and protection plans, controls, studies and other diagnoses, necessary for the control of these risks -Verify facilities and compliance by conducting site inspections
Ensure the communication and training on hazards, risks, prevention and protection measures
-Manage internal communication: standards, guides, tools, methods, reporting ... -Identify the training needs of employees, define and validate content, and lead sessions -Design specific awareness-raising tools (training materials, guide to the use of equipment, signs, etc.) to improve the reliability of the procedures relating to safety and environmental protection
Align with Corporate Safety Managers at Symrise headquarters
-Exchange on safety culture initiatives and best practices -Align on reporting of Safety KPI’s
Fluent in English (good level in spanish would be a +)
Willing to travel
Good communication skills, capacity to motivate people
Pragmatic and results-oriented
Excellent knowledge of safety regulations to ensure compliance of the production site with the legislative framework in force
Integrity and ability to analyze and synthesize in order to present objective, well-argued and seamless files to funding structures / organizations
Good technical knowledge in the scientific field studied in order to interact effectively with the client's operational teams
Project management skills and project planning to master the principles of evaluation, quantification and monitoring of a project
Knowledge of standards (14,001 and 18,000) and risk analysis techniques (Amdec, APR, Hazop ...)
Health & Environnement background as a plus
