Independently supports/supplements senior level Sales force to ensure all of the client’s needs are met and their needs are properly represented to Symrise company, both locally and globally. Manages client projects and requests by facilitating and driving internal developmental work. Ensures quality and timeliness of submissions and presentations to client.
Essential Functions: A. Facilitates internal development work ensuring critical deadlines are met and the work is completed in a timely, complete and high quality manner. Responds to customer inquiries, as necessary, makes judgment on manner of resolution and ensures timely follow-up on all customer issues.
B. Organizes customer meetings, ensuring the correct clients/internal executives are invited, notified, rooms are booked, materials/presentations/blotters are prepared, and all meeting details are attended to, within the guidelines set forth by the appropriate Account Executive.
C. Processes and coordinates all necessary documentation for client submissions, including but not limited to regulatory, safety, quality and additional paperwork that might be demanded by the client.
D. Acts as the complete back-up to the Account Executive, able to function in all levels, in case of absence or while the AE is traveling. If needed, generates Sales Reports in EIS, completes input of quarterly forecast. Maintains master pricing data in SAP/PACE. Sends price increase notifications as required.
E. Prepares all data/documentation and marketing descriptions to accompany sample submissions. Ensure Criteria of Customers Specifications are met. Final “eyes” on everything being submitted to the customer and need to verify all requirements are adhered to.
F. Inputs all necessary information via SAP, NOTES or PACE to ensure clients demands are met, locally and globally. Responsible for all project maintenance within PACE, recording client comments, bases, submissions, pricing information, win/loss status
G. Processing / Generating paperwork Work in Doc Requestor, SAP,SYMCOM, EIS, Assist with forecasting
B.A./B.S. Degree required or equivalent industry related experience.
Must have 2-3 years’ experience in a sales/coordination role.
Fragrance industry experience preferred.
