This specifically includes the sale of Pharmaceutical Colors, Flavors and Coatings. You will develop new sales and solution with and for our key customer accounts. Multiple internal support structures have been established to help ensure your success.

Responsibilities

  • Selling value-added solutions and ingredients within the Pharmaceutical and Nutraceutical industry
  • Creatively growing existing business and obtaining new customer accounts
  • Effectively developing and expanding a strong customer relationship at all relevant levels
  • Ensure comprehensive project management with your pharma customers
  • Handling large accounts and partner with decision makers for innovative new product development projects
  • Developing, implementing, and managing account-specific strategies
  • Delivering accurate short and medium term sales plans and forecasts based on analysis with regard to sales, cost, markets, new business development and customers
  • Contributing information to market strategy by monitoring competitive products and reactions from accounts
  • Leverage Sensient's internal resources such as marketing, product development, technology & innovation, manufacturing and distribution
  • Manage and coordinate relationship with distributors in assigned sales region

Education & Experience

  • A minimum of 5-7 years of successful business and B2B sales experience in the Pharmaceutical- or Nutraceutical industry
  • A Bachelor Degree in Business or a scientific discipline, i.e. chemistry, food technology or similar education
  • Ability to manage significant business opportunities to grow the company’s position as the leader in its field
  • Excellent communication skills, experience in working both autonomously as well as in a team
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and handle multiple tasks in an effective manner 
  • Willing and able to travel to multiple customers throughout the assigned territory
