Job Description

Do you want to have a key role in identifying, selecting and attracting the best qualified and available candidates for Corbion? As our Talent Acquisition Lead EU/Asia we offer you to work at our office at the production and Global R&D location in Gorinchem. We have an outstanding opportunity for an experienced recruiter who can play a key role in partnering with our hiring teams in the EurAsian region to understand recruitment needs and develop and implement effective sourcing strategies. This is a tactical, hands-on role that also requires productive collaboration at all levels. The Talent Acquisition Lead will ensure operational activities are properly implemented and maintained by being hands-on and able to work independently as a partner to hiring managers, external vendors and consultants

Working as part of a global team, our Recruiters build and maintain strong communities of talent, while proactively responding to business needs, creating detailed recruitment project plans, which encompass timelines, strategies, cost, resources, and ROI of various recruiting activities and efforts. They also track critical recruitment data, produce regular and ad-hoc metrics and reporting on recruiting activities. As our Talent Acquisition Lead the main responsibilities are to create:

  • Consistent recruiting, interviewing and hiring processes that support a highly positive candidate experience and recruiter/hiring manager efficiencies
  • Complex international recruiting through collaboration with global HR colleagues
  • Recruitment initiatives for the respective organization as well as implement innovative solutions to solve complex recruiting challenges
  • Strategy conversations with HR Business Partners and Hiring Managers to develop sourcing plans that are tailored to specific (future) hiring needs
  • Talent pipelines with passive candidates to ensure recruitment effectiveness for the organization and reduce dependency on external vendors
  • Recruiting metrics in order to accurately assess the effectiveness of current and previous recruitment strategies and to create and implement solutions for challenges
  • Training programs and workshops for Corbion personnel to ensure effective recruiting techniques are utilized

About you 

In addition to 7+ years of recruiting experience in a fast-paced and high-volume environment, as the successful candidate for the position of Talent Acquisition Lead you must also have:

  • Prior experience in fast-moving, high-growth technology or scientific environments. Experience in biotech, pharma or the life sciences is highly preferred
  • Proven ability to recruit across a mix of technical disciplines and levels of seniority
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to work with confidence independently and cross-functionally across various departments and locations; establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external parties
  • Excellent sourcing and social media skills to be able to build and maintain high-quality talent connections
  • High level of integrity, curiosity, strong discipline, and a high degree of accuracy; ability to handle multiple projects and competing priorities
  • Experience managing recruitment workflow in an applicant tracking system. SuccessFactors experience is a plus
  • Proven customer service skills to ensure the best candidate and hiring manager experience
