Global Supply Planner - Your Future Position?

As a Global Supply Planner you will perform VMI Planning processes within Givaudan’s internal network in a timely and accurate manner, following defined standard operating procedures and maintain an overview of overall VMI Planning team activities. You will also contribute to the achievement of VMI Planning performance and quality standards as defined in relevant service level agreements. You will act as a main point of contact for the team leads and the Head of Planning in relation to defined processes.

 

In This Role You Will:

  • Actively works to continuously improve processes
  • Provide professional support for colleagues
  • Builds constructive and effective relationships with cross functional teams and stakeholders
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external partners by phone or via email
  • Act as contact person for key internal and external stakeholders for operational topics
  • Proactive co-operation with other work streams within the GBS in overseeing the end-to-end process
  • Day to day operations in the VMI Planning area including: 
    • Initiate network inventory rebalancing across Givaudan’s 30+ sites globally 
    • Assess the supply chain impact of demand changes
    • Evaluate planning parameter and lead time data proposals and requests exceptions
    • Evaluate proposals to transfer inventory, requests exceptions and manage strategic inventory
    • Identify capacity gaps and collaborate with Global Supply Chain team to develop resolution options
    • Act as an allocation manager for globally allocated supplies by ensuring that sites are following the carried out plan
    • Identify slow and obsolete inventory batches, review status and allow necessary stock transfers
    • Collaborate with Raw Material Planners on site
  • Adherence to service levels to policies and procedures
  • Facilitate Site Supply Reviews 

Your Professional Profile Includes:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Supply Chain Management or equivalent
  • 3+ years of Planning experience 
  • Fluency in English
  • Advanced MS excel (being able to write advanced macros is a plus) and good knowledge of Microsoft Office or equivalent tools
  • Relevant process experience
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong numeracy and administration skills

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with SAP PP/MM modules
  • Experience in a shared service center
