Senior Regulatory Specialist – Korea - Your future position?
You will be involved in all aspects of the RAPS Customer Relations work for Korea clients Department (RAPS CR) and also Korea Chemical regulatory support. It includes from reviewing product information, attending customer meetings to gen-erating technical reports and declarations for clients, setting the overall regulatory compliance strategy for the Korean business and provides support to chemical regulatory team. You will need to have excellent interpersonal skills to man-age Korean customers and the ability to produce highly accurate written work. An enthusiastic and thorough approach is essential for this role with the ability to learn and absorb complex regulatory activities in a fast moving regulatory envi-ronment in Korea.

• Ensure regulatory compliance of the Korean L&R business and minimise the impact of changing regulations upon the business.• Implement regulatory compliance strategy that is consistent with the business goals of Korea• Work with the regional CR groups to ensure global regulatory surveillance for Korea and ensure regulatory changes are implemented in a timely manner to avoid business disruption• Respond to regulatory compliance requests from internal and external clients and attend meetings with these cli-ents as necessary• Use Givaudan systems to complete tasks and manage data• Interact with internal functional teams to support the RAPS activities• Generate technical reports and declarations for internal and external clients• Review all product information to ensure 100% accuracy and completeness before documents reach the custom-er.• Work with and assist Managers/ Specialists as necessary• Support the notifications and registration team for chemical regulation / submission needs for Korea / manage tonnage tracking, etc

Your professional profile includes: • University Degree and at least 4 years' experience• Preferred exposure to Fragrance or Chemicals Industry• Excellent written and communication skills in English and Korea.• Good analytical, written, presentation and communication skills.
Technical/Functional Knowledge:• Strong PC skills, including competency in MS Office products• Good understanding of business processes and systems• Good working knowledge of the SAP platform• Good working knowledge of Korean chemical regulations, K-REACH in particular• Good working knowledge of other Korean regulations, e.g. cosmetic, oral care, etc. though not mandatory, will be an added qualification
