Where You'll Work:

The Commerce, CA manufacturing plant is in the Taste business unit and they have new technologies and R&D is on-site. This plant has dynamic customers and we are looking for a good Supply Chain leader who will take the site to the next level. There's lots of opporutnity at this site to make a difference.

What You'll Do:

As a Supply Planner, you will be part of our supply chain team.  If you’re looking to build a career in supply chain with a team you can have some fun with, we might be the team for you.  As a Supply Planner, you will:

 

  • Review daily MRP Material Activity Report and develop a Master Production Schedule that satisfies customer service expectations while reducing repeat productions and unnecessary cleanings. 
  • Reviews material availability and creates, releases and schedules production based on customer needs and material availability. 
  • Optimizes inventory by making the most efficient use of partial lots (raw materials and finished goods)
  • Interactions with stack holders such as Quality Control regarding production problems.
  • Periodically review inventory status and master data in ERP system. 

This Supply Planner role is an extremely important to us.  We will rely on you to plan, organize and coordinate production schedules in a manner that meets customer expectations within accepted lead time intervals.  As a team member we rely on you to efficiently utilize all production resource to improve yields and reduce time due to cleaning/changeovers.

What You'll Need:

To get the most of this role at Kerry you’ll need to come with knowledge in Supply Chain ability to influence up, and we’d prefer if you had finance experience.  You’ll also meet these minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required.  We prefer a degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Finance
  • Do you have Planning experience?  We prefer 2-4 years of experience in this area as it will help jump start your career.
