At our Jackson, WI facility we create dry beverage products that delight our customers.  We are located a commutable 20 minutes north of the Milwaukee metro area. We work hard, play hard, and give back to the community we work in through our Kerry employee engagement program.

Key responsibilities

 

As an Planner/Scheduler, you will be part of our Supply Chain team.  If you’re looking to build a career in Supply Chain with a team you can have some fun with, we might be the team for you.  As an Planner/Scheduler, you will:

 

  • Develop safety stock, minimum order quantities, optimal quantities for Intermediates, Finished Goods, and Raw Materials.
  • Identify requirements for order fulfilment, safety stock requirements and new product introductions. 
  • Plan for utilizing rework inventory during production runs.
  • Lead weekly scheduling review with production, maintenance and quality groups.
  • Communicate material transfer requests to/from the warehouse. 
  • Ensure aged, slow moving, and obsolete inventory action items are addressed timely.

 

Qualifications and skills

:  To get the most of this role at Kerry you’ll need to come with knowledge in planning/scheduling ability to influence up, and we’d prefer if you had supply chain experience.  You’ll also meet these minimum requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required. APICS Certification preferred though not required.
  • 2-3 years of experience in manufacturing and distribution environment preferred. 
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access)
