At the Kerry Center in Beloit, we are a leader in taste and nutrition for the global food, beverage and pharmaceutical industry.  We have approximately 700 employees at this location that perform various task such as finance, procurement, supply chain and customer care.  This location is commutable from major cities such as Milwaukee and Madison. 


As a HR Manager, you will be part of our Human Resource team.  If you’re looking to build a career in Human Resource with a team you can have some fun with, we might be the team for you.  As a HR Manager, you will:


  • Participate to build the Strategic plan of the site to inspire and give clarity at every level
  • Supporting leaders advising on their management of the life cycle’s employees at Kerry
  • Identify and apply multiple recruiting strategies to ensure a timely and appropriate response to fill open positions. Minimize time to fill open requisitions while improving the fit of new hires.
  • Support team managers to build development plan
  • Analyze, interpret, develop, and implement HR policies, programs, and procedures as appropriate
  • Utilize expertise in diverse HR disciplines to provide comprehensive and effective HR support
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (EEO/AA, FMLA, ADA, etc.)
Key responsibilities

The HR Manager is extremely important to us.  We will rely on you partner with the HR Business Partner to assist in the development and execution of the people strategy for various central office functions including Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, HSE, Engineering and Customer Care. As a team member we will rely on you to provide full HR generalist support such as recruitment and retention, HR program administration, employee and labor relations, compensation and benefits administration, performance management, coaching and counseling, and policy interpretation and application.  This role will be based in Beloit, WI. 

Qualifications and skills

To get the most of this role at Kerry you’ll need to come with knowledge in human resource ability to influence up, and we’d prefer if you had human resource experience.  You’ll also meet these minimum requirements:


  • Bachelor’s Degree is required.  Human Resource and/or Business degree is preferred. 
  • Do you have experience in a generalist human resource function?  We prefer 6-8 years of experience in this area as it will jump start your career.
  • Do you have experience with Microsoft application such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint?  We also prefer experience in various timekeeping systems as well.
