Job Description

Ingredion is hiring a Human Resources Manager to serve as a trusted advisor to department leaders and to deliver leadership in talent development, culture change, employee relations, training and development, labor relations, performance management, total rewards planning, succession planning and talent acquisition.  The Human Resources Group is focused on promoting employee growth and helping employees in professional development, gaining needed experience for future roles, and expanding the depth of knowledge and expertise.

 

As a Human Resources Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Directing and coordinating all talent acquisition activities, ensuring the recruitment of high quality talent capable of supporting the short and long-term needs of the business
  • Interpreting and applying policies, procedures, and programs, and the local collective bargaining agreement, ensuring consistent application while working with management to provide solutions that balance business and employee needs in compliance with Company policy and the law
  • Partnering with plant management to ensure organizational effectiveness, ensuring the right talent is in place to implement value added business processes and systems and that support the strategic goals of the plant and the Company
  • Deploys change management to support the implementation of new processes, technologies, and programs
  • Leads strategies with plant management team to improve culture

Qualified candidates will have:

  • a bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field and seven or more years’ of human resources experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably a union environment
  • strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast paced and demanding environment
  • demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at multiple levels of the organization
  • proven leadership and change management skills and an ability to work effectively with a management team
  • strong knowledge of employment law and knowledge of total rewards practices and administration
