The Product Development Scientist is responsible for product development for a specific category - from product idea conception to launch in local markets.
Lead and Develop structured plans for development of new products to meet agreed I2M timescales and product briefs.
High level of Confectionery Product development experience i.e. Understand ingredient functionality, Processes. Evaluate and approve new ingredients from suppliers.
Ability to upscale formulations from bench top, to pilot scale to factory scale. Prepare Reports and ability to present to category key stake holders
Communicate and collaborate with Global and regional cross functional team members.
Set product specifications. Design and execute stability studies for formula development, working with third party providers to coordinate sensory and analytical testing of prototype formulas as required.
