Every day you will Identify operational challenges, analyze and develop solutions for improvements to support capital projects. 

Key responsibilities

The Project / Process Engineer is fundamental to our team. You will develop and execute projects to improve safety, quality and productivity to produce the top quality product our customers expect from Kerry.   You will look at current execution, from start of process to the end, and look for bottle necks and all the potential solutions.  You will also work with RD&A, Quality & Production to lead project roll-out (ie SAP) and seek incremental changes to improves process day to day, week to week, etc.

  • Justify, write and submit project requests to various levels of management according to company guidelines.
  • Develop key objectives for each project and manage projects so they are achieved.
  • Develop detailed project plans and schedules according to the goals and objectives for the project.
  • Identify any requirements associated with each project and develop a test plan to validate compliance.
  • Support projects during planning, installation, startup and production as required, coordinating all technical aspects of each project.

Qualifications and skills

  • Do you have a BS degree in Engineering (BS Chemical or Mechanical Engineering preferred)?
  • Do you bring 4+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment with formal project management experience?  Food & Beverage Experience & GMP knowledge  is a plus
  • Are you a hands on and effective project leader?
  • Do you have knowledge of OSHA and NFPA regulations and guidelines and ability to prepare and maintain required documentation? Experience with electrical and control systems is helpful.
  • Are you an independent worker, with strong organizational skills, who requires minimal supervision?
