The open position is based out of our global technical center at Thane, India and part of the Chocolate countline team for Asia Middle East Africa (AMEA) region. The region consists of 5 Business unit namely India, ANZ and Janpan, China, South east Asia and Middle east Africa. This team is responsible for develop and deployment of chocolate products in the AMEA region. As part of this team he/she will lead the RDQI activities needed for multiple projects to launch the product in market on time. He/she will be working in projects for multiple markets in the region (Australia, India, GCC countries etc), thus should be flexible with working hours and comfortable with remote project management.

Independent lead or participation in execution of various project types, either multiple complex projects in parallel but with phased deadlines or, medium to large sized RD&Q projects / activities with 2-3 interfaces outside RD&Q / supports Chocolate RD&Q projects with a focus on countline products. Projects can vary from research, analysis, brief bench-top scale, through to plant trials and commercialisation.
Market survey, competition benchmarking, idea development and recommendation for new product ideas, feasibility study, product development, design validation, trial support at Pilot plant and Factory, commercialisation
Conducts relevant regulatory & legal compliance checks and nutritional profiling and generates IDF’s from IP searches (as applicable). Specification development and approval from relevant cross functional teams.
Ensures consistency, technical precision and compliance to processes and systems. Independent interpretation of data to deliver results and draw business relevant conclusions.
Effectively structures and presents status updates / proposals to influence partners or share with higher management.
Awareness of business partners with focus on network-building. Technical network building within and outside the category and across functions such as Marketing, Procurement, Operations, Corporate Quality, etc.
Requires limited coaching of direct manager on complex activities, especially business-related topics or new technical knowledge. Is used to remote management and remote WOW.
Trains and supports others within department on range of topics within own scientific discipline.
Responsible for delivering individual and team goals.
