About the role

The Continuous Improvement (CI) Manager will work in conjunction with the Sr. Director of Continuous Improvement to set the overall CI strategy and manage execution for the respective technology and functional areas.


At the Kerry Center in Beloit, we are a leader in taste and nutrition for the global food, beverage and pharmaceutical industry.  We have approximately 700 employees at this location that perform various task such as finance, procurement, supply chain and customer care.  This location is commutable from major cities such as Chicago, Milwaukee and Madison. Role can also be remote (Home Based) based on experience and additional travel.

Key responsibilities

The CI Manager will lead a group of CI specialist to deliver operational programs across food safety, quality, people/training and cost by using industry standards, like TPM (Total Productive Management) Kaizen and Visual Management. 


You will implement and deploy Continuous Improvement within the business technology to ensure consistency among processes and procedures.  Focus on Internal & External Benchmarking along with identification, business case & implementation of process Manufacturing improvement opportunities.  This will be achieved by validation of project success and financial & Key Performance Indicator (KPI) improvements.

  • Provide inputs to develop of the CI method / system and corresponding tools
  • Provide inputs for the development of the CI toolkit. Ensure propagation of toolkit to the CI specialists for assigned clusters
  • Provide inputs in the design of the maturity assessment framework.
  • Act as the change agent, coaching, mentoring and influencing at all levels so as to affect the required CI culture
  • Assist in Developing infrastructure tools, supporting materials and training to support continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications and skills

  • Do you have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Manufacturing, Engineering, Sciences or related field?
  • Do you bring at least 7 years work experience in a compatible CI Management role?
  • Experience with implementation of TPM within a manufacturing environment (food vertical is preferred).
  • Open to travel up to 50%
  • Knowledge of working with the Supply Chain function is an advantage
