We are looking for a technically inclined manager to lead our team of experts supporting multiple food industries in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

You will be responsible for all the technical support to customers as well as the application lab support to our long-term product development of ingredients for bars, beverages, fruit and confectionery.

 

You will be managing and coordinating a team of 12 experienced, technically oriented and highly skilled colleagues, and you will be a member of the EMEA Innovation management team.

  • Navigating through company goals and strategies and make them tangible for your team members
  • Contributing to the relevant Industry Teams with technical insight and high level of business acumen
  • Ensuring implementation and achievement of the targets defined in the Industry Plans
  • Being responsible for the development of solutions and meeting customers
  • Knowledge-sharing, training and education of customers and colleagues

Job Qualifications

Candidate Profile:

You are a skilled manager, who enjoys working and navigating in a global organization, and you have the skills and capabilities to build a network across organizational and geographical borders.

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree as a Food Engineer or Scientist, and Master’s degree from a Business School is a plus.Experienced working with or strong understanding of hydrocolloids and protein chemistry is preferred.
  • Good insight into the food industry (preferably 5 years’ experience or more)
  • Managerial experience and proven skills as a people manager
  • Good listener, yet decisive
  • Strong communicator with solid commercial sense
  • Capable of motivating and leading others to deliver their best in a respectful and accommodating way
  • High level of English and good IT skills
  • A professional and service-minded mindset
