Job Description

Sensient Colors is looking to hire an experienced Sales Account Manager based in the Philippines.
 
 
JOB SUMMARY:

With our vast array of Flavors and Colors for the food and beverage industries you will develop new sales within key customer accounts. The Sales Account Manager will be part of the SEA commercial team and reports to the Sales Director. We have various internal support structures established to help ensure your success.
 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Selling value-added flavors and/or Colors to the food and beverage industries in the Philippines
  • Creatively grow existing business and obtain new customer accounts
  • Effectively develop and expand a strong customer relationship at all relevant levels
  • Handle multiple accounts and partner with decision makers for innovative new product development projects
  • Develop, implement, and manage account-specific strategies
  • Deliver accurate short and medium term sales planes and forecasts based on analysis with regard to sales, cost, markets, new business development and customers
  • Contribute information to market strategy by monitoring competitive products and reactions from accounts
  • Leverage Sensient's internal resources such as marketing, product development, technology & innovation, manufacturing and distribution
 
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • Ideally BSc in a life science discipline, i.e. chemistry, chemical engineering or in a similar, relevant discipline
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of successful B2B sales experience in the raw material food or related industry
  • Ability to manage significant business opportunities to grow the company’s position as the leader in its field
  • Full business fluency in English
  • Excellent communication skills, experience in working both autonomously as well as in a team
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and handle multiple tasks in an effective manner
  • Willing and able to travel to multiple customers throughout the assigned territory
  • Self-sufficient worker with excellent time- and territory- management skills
