Position summary Are you a motivated, agile, self-organised and creative (audio) visual professional that knows how to create engaging content, be it in the form of a short video, a specially designed picture for our social media channels, or an infographic you designed to go with a story on our website? Your responsibilities Planning, creation, coordination and in-house production of videos photography infographics or other visual content for the Corporate Communications team - for both internal as well as external use; this includes in-house video productions with smartphone/DSLR camera, sometimes also the organization and coordination of more professional productions with external suppliers Working and coordinating closely with other team members and be the Go-to person for the in-house creation of, engaging (audio) visual content in English for all type of internal/external channels of the Barry Callebaut Group (ie print & online) Write and develop creative briefing papers, concepts and ideas for videos, photography, infographics, or other visual content - in close collaboration with the respective project owners within the team, or in other parts of the Barry Callebaut Group Support/deputize the Head of Digital Communications in the day-to-day management and creation of visual content for the Barry Callebaut Group’s social media channels (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Flickr) Help to manage the social media monitoring of Barry Callebaut on both a daily basis as well as in crisis situations; support/deputize the Head of Digital Communications in the performance analysis of the social media channels of the Barry Callebaut Group Go-to person in the Corporate Communications team regarding Global Corporate Identity & Design and how to apply it for the various Group off- & online publications; participating in the further developments of the Corporate CI/CD and related guidelines led by the Barry Callebaut Group’s Global Marketing team Your qualifications Trained Mediamatician/Media Technologist (‘Mediamatiker’) and/or University of Applied Sciences degree Around 3 to 4 years experience in creating (digital) visual content Proven track record in developing and delivering effective and engaging (digital) visual content projects Mid-sized/large organization or agency experience preferred Technical skills you should have: Experience with the current tools to create and edit videos, photography and infographics (eg Photoshop, Lightroom, Adobe Premier, Apple Final Cut Pro or similar tools), content management systems (Drupal), Photoshop or equivalent image editor, as well as video editing tools Good grasp of social media platforms such as Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram as well as social media monitoring and publishing tools (eg Hootsuite) First experience with SEO, HTML/CSS and website & social media analytics (e.g. Google Analytics) Very good proficiency in English, with a good to native knowledge of German or French Capacity to acquire a rapid understanding of our complex business, and to translate into engaging, inspiring (audio) visual content Excellent project and stakeholder management, organizational skills, as well as the ability to handle multiple projects, priorities and stakeholders simultaneously Strong team player, flexible attitude, a very distinct hands-on approach and entrepreneurial spirit What you can expect from us A varied and challenging role within one of the fastest growing food companies of the world A stimulating, performance-oriented environment with international exposure that enables personal and professional growth A highly motivated, dedicated and fun team Our strength comes from the passion and expertise of our people.
