Senior Application Technologist, Dairy – Your future position? As a Senior Application Technologist in the Flavour Creation and Application Team based in Singapore, you will be responsible for providing technical support to customers both internal and external through project briefs, including the recommendation of flavours and technical information on application processes. Your role will contribute to our business growth by demonstrating the use and benefit of our flavours in Dairy Applications. In this exciting role your main responsibilities include: Innovation & Project Management: You will prepare, organize and execute state-of-the-art flavoured food products for customer presentations. You will develop new application recipes as well as new concepts for customers, based on new developments in the market, trends and new raw materials. You will train our commercial force and customers on our capabilities. You will arrange and conduct tasting sessions, process and interpret the results to customers; both externally and internally. You will leverage on new technologies for submission to customers and also identify new opportunities. You will ensure projects are carried out in accordance with customer requirements in terms of deadlines and product specifications. Evaluate and select flavours: You will select optimal flavours for projects according to all relevant requirements (taste profile, legislation, technical suitability, costs, etc.); In a laboratory or industrial pilot environment, you will apply and evaluate flavours pro-actively monitor flavour performance and stability. Technical Expert: You will serve as technical expert and advisor to marketing, sales, flavour creation, and customers for dairy applications. Recommend appropriate lab/pilot equipment needed for capital investments. Communication: You will take responsibility for technical customer communication to achieve a positive outcome of projects. You will provide support and exchange information on flavour performance, food recipes with other Givaudan sites. You? Are you someone who wants to grow and shape your own world? Your professional profile includes: At least a Polytechnic Diploma or B.S. in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology with 10 - 14 years’ experience in Dairy food applications. Open also to Master’s Degree or Ph.D in relevant fields with at least 5 to 9 years’ experience in Dairy food applications. Sound understanding of industrial processes and manufacturing equipment. Able to trouble shoot technical or formulation problems with customers when needed. Good project management skills.
