This role requires a thorough working knowledge of the specification management application and the spec development process. This position will provide specification management support focused on creation, development and maintenance of raw material specifications. Primary responsibilities: Create, manage and approve all raw material specs, including creation of GKIT’s Active participation in execution of various project types, either multiple small projects in parallel but with phased deadlines, or, more complex medium projects / activities Communicate with R&D developers, Regulatory Affairs, micro, toxicology, analytical for specifications reviews, approvals and change notifications Regular contact with suppliers for obtaining information required for the creation and maintenance of raw material specifications. Recommends improvements within own project area Ensure data accuracy across interfaces Archive obsolete specifications according to business processes defined Train others within immediate group in core specifications practices. Supports larger team in conducting training to all users for system usage and system enhancements including systems testing after upgrades or new applications as needed Awareness of business partners within role and continues to build relationship network Provide day to day user support Qualifications University degree in a technical field: Food Science, Engineering, Packaging, Chemical Science or equivalent Previous experience in food industry Previous experience with specifications and project management is preferred Proficiency in computer skills, web-based systems and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) English language is a must, any other EU language is a plus Excellent written and oral communication skills; able to effectively communicate to multiple levels Self-starter with ability to work independently, problem solve and with willingness to make decisions that drive task progress Excellent organizing skills, including time management and priority setting Ability to build successful relationships with team and customers This is a short-term contract for 12 months.
