Givaudan invites you to discover more at www.givaudan.com. About the Role Our Consumer Insight and Sensory (CSI) EAME team is part of our Regional Innovation Organisation. As Director CSI you support strategic innovation and customer projects with state of the art CSI programmes to Impact on pipeline, win rate, PNWR, defense rate and support the EAME Flavour growth strategy. You will lead a team of 12 CSI specialists who are based in Kemptthal (CH) and Naarden (NL). You will report to the Head of Regional Innovation EAME and be part of the Regional Innovation Leadership Team. You Will: Lead development of the strategy, vision and implementation plan for the Consumer Insight and Sensory functions in the EAME region Assess the needs of key stakeholders: Segment and Country Marketing Teams, Flavour Creation and Application, Science & Technology Review the EAME Growth Strategy (Segment, Regional, Customer) to establish the capability needs for the future Develop and communicate the vision, strategy and implementation plan for CSI EAME Drive the implementation plan and ensure successful execution Ensure competitive advantage of Givaudan in the domain of consumer and sensory insights by developing differentiating insights and methodologies. Provide Consumer and Product Insights to the EAME Flavours Business Design Consumer Understanding and Sensory programmes to support Innovation and country plans in-line with the needs and available budget Manage priorities and budget with regular communication with relevant stakeholders, ensuring the budget approval process is followed Provide Consumer Understanding and Sensory services as agreed in the customer service grids Manage external vendors to deliver on-time and on-budget Build understanding of our customer needs in relation to the Consumer Understanding and Sensory function Build and disseminate Consumer and Sensory knowledge through the organization Develop and execute relevant training programmes to ensure knowledge transfer into product development, marketing promotions and customer interactions Monitor use of Consumer and Sensory knowledge and return on investment as well as through defined KPI’s Represesent Givaudan’s CSI function with Givaudan’s EAME customers and within the larger CSI domain (Academia, FoodTech network, Vendors…) Lead the EAME CSI team Ensure the EAME CSI team has the right capabilities and organisation structure to support the business strategy Enhance individual and team performance within a culture of regular coaching and feedback Offer development opportunities and motivate the team to remain best in class You Have: Strong customer focus Good understanding of the CSI tools and industry trends Ability to drive a high performing multi-location team to the next level Givaudan is an equal opportunity employer.
