Mondelez International is looking for vacancy: Scientist I Global Candy Position Purpose: The Scientist must help to develop, with closer guidance from his/her manager, Global RDQI Candy Innovation programs. The scientist is responsible to plan, concentrate, verify, identify risks and mitigation plans, to execute and implement Innovation agenda for Candies (Halls, Mints, Soft Chew Candy and Jellies), taking into consideration product quality to meet global/regional Mondelez guidelines, according to BCP and Technical Rigour. Main Responsabilities: Understand scope of the Innovation & Quality improvement Projects Actively participate in Project follow up meetings, aligning information with the manager prior to the meetings. Interact with multifunctional team members, internal and external parties (Procurement, Marketing, ISC, Consumer Science, R&N, FETI, BD, Suppliers etc). Comunicate effectively with Stake Holders Prepare and save the records for the Projects under his/her responsibility, like HACCP Plans, specifications from raw material/products management in Interspec, Build BOM's, costing information, IIM documentation, shelf life stability studies for product, plant trial requests, plant trial reports, etc. Design products (recipes) to delight consumers, understanding cost implications. Plan, organize, execute plant trials and analyze results to complete technical recommendations Design and conduct stability studies to ensure adequate shelf life for new formulations Develop and manage product specifications, developing proficiency in the Meridian (Interspec) System Develop the Innovation and renovation ideas for Global brands and develop prototypes according to that Analyze project activities and develop technical plans to deliver gainst them (tasks, timeline, risk management plan, etc.) Join up with other regions to assess technical feasibility on the R&D initiatives Apply technical knowledge to various business needs and problem solving Lead in product assessment against regulations, Intellectual Property and Corporate Standards Seek to improve self and team´s technical depth Contribute to create a successful team environment Qualifications Academic Knowledge : Bachelor's degree in Chemical food engineer, pharmacologist, chemical food engineer. Advanced English level (written and spoken) at least 80% Work in multiple initiatives in paralell, giving priorities Experience: Desirable technical expertise in Mondelez International and other companies, preferably in product development for Food Industry Experience in RD&Q roles, preference on Confectionary and Project management for over 1 year Skills: Dealing with ambiguity Confronting direct reports Mondelez International, Inc. is an equal opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
