Scientist I, Global Meals Research (m/f/d) Joining our Global Meals Research Department, you will focus on dairy technology and making cream cheese processes. You will plan and conduct experiments, run tests and deliver results with technical reports as well as implement corrective measures when necessary. Main Responsibilities: Planing and conducting independently trials and programs at bench top, pilot plant and also factory scale Concluding the trials including storage, sample analysis (chemical and sensorial analysis), interpretation of results and effective reporting to guide project decisions Following up with suppliers on specific product or equipment related topics Conducting project reviews Ensuring consistency, technical precision and compliance with methods of work, technical policies and procedures Conducting relevant legal compliance checks, intellectual property searches and nutritional profiling along with the pertinent departments Issuing research reports and specifications Connecting within the dairy industry and academia and representing Mondelez in external research programs Qualifications To be successful in this position we need you to have: University degree – Bachelor or Master Degree – preferably in dairy engineering and technology, food science, food technology or food engineering; but also degrees from other areas as chemical engineering, physical chemistry, biology, biochemistry, bio-engineering, physics, biophysics, biotechnology Preferably with experience in a similar role Preferably with technical knowledge in dairy and processing, especially filtration technology and dairy proteins, separation processes Excellent organizational skills, including time management, priority setting, paired with a proactive attitude, strong communication skills and being a team-oriented and enthusiastic about working in a global environment Strong interest in and some experience in applied science and research Fluent in spoken and written English and German; other languages are a plus We pride ourselves on having a high performing and collaborative culture where we offer support and development to enhance your career and develop your knowledge and skills.
