To ensure Food safety and consumer satisfaction by having active participation in consumer and customer solving issues and complaints management. To lead or coordinate quality improvement within activities this position have in its scope. Can be participant or leader of EU Com Quality workshop. To maintain and develop Quality culture at high level for Benelux scope, internally with local functions and with external stakeholders especially warehouses and Copacker teams – for this case in relationship with LogOps Quality key contact for BNL or Community of Practices manager. Responsibilities To participate and support NPD/I2M and private label, and Premiums projects, to ensure quality and food safety and to assess quality risks (consumers and customers), by making sure information are reported into PAMs documentation, by participating to 1st production needed when needed. To manage customers complaints and enquiries through direct relationship with customer’s teams and in collaboration with Sales and CS&L teams (Customers services, Logistic Operation). To work closely with Consumers services in order to support and manage consumer complaints, especially on sensitive complaints. To manage finished goods blockage in link with regulatory, food safety concerns or any other type of non-conformity. To decide about next steps for finished goods in relationship with factories, Quality category, Marketing and Supply, including Country GM approval when needed. To contribute to effective management of complaints and enquiries for other categories (as Confectionary – Chocolate and G&C) by linking with rest of team (Fr, BNL) and providing information back and forth when needed. To work with LogOps team for local WH needs that requests Commercial quality support ( stock management, destruction … ) To be key contact with Namur and Herentals plants for any commercial quality concerns or topics that needs feedbacks or support (contact with authority, traceability…) To report key Commercial quality topics and challenges through reporting tools (QIT and CQ monthly report…) Contribute to Quality training modules and sessions dedicated to local business teams (content and animation of sessions) Coordinating local SSM team (Critical cases as Early Warning and Special situation) – coordinating assessment action plans recommendation in order to solve situation. Ensuring right level of preparedness by communication actions and regular training (HO office teams, plants and warehouses)/ Qualifications Education and Experience Engineer school level is required (better from food industry domain) Experience in food industry (3 to 5 years) is required ( Supply, R&D) Interpersonal skills are required Autonomy and work with his/her manager on remote way, capable to work within project team, ability to provide recommendation and to influence stakeholders, ability to challenge “Status Quo”. Knowledge in management of Quality, Quality systems and processes is key skill for the position. Communication skills Skills and experience in problem solving is key asset for the position.
