Purpose: This position is responsible for pulling ingredients and placing in an area accessible by operators, pull finished pallets from packaging line without damaging product or equipment. Maintain neat and organized work areas in a conscientious and reliable manner, consistent with Company standards. Operates a forklift and pallet jack in a safe manner according to company procedures and OSHA regulations. Must have CSM forklift certification. Inspects forklifts prior to use each day. Lifting to stack pallets Operates shrink-wrap machine to insure all product is shrink-wrapped and secure prior to shipment. Supports and complies with GMPs. Follows all food safety best practices to prevent allergen cross-contamination. Maintains cleanliness and organization of work areas. Follows all safety procedures and participates in safety training. Maintains safe and efficient use of equipment, tools, and PPE. Reports any injury, accident or unsafe condition immediately to supervisor. Supports product safety, quality and legality. Supports, and comply with all quality management systems, continuous improvement programs, food safety, employee safety, preventative maintenance programs and legality. Visually inspect finished pallets for correct labels and that pallet stickers filled out correctly. Participates in TPM initiatives. Follows all company policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned. Experience / Skills: 1-2 years of experience preferred. Ability to read, speak and write English so as to assimilate, retain, and apply training and knowledge of job functions and recognize and communicate problems and recommended solutions. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Certified to operate a forklift and pallet jack. Experience using RF devices. Computer literacy in Excel, Word, MS Access and SAP or any ERP system. Able to lift up to 50 pounds consistently. Ability to work independently. Excellent math skills as well as a strong attention to detail. Experience with food safety regulations strongly preferred. Must be able to wear a company-provided uniform. 2nd Shift Dry Mix Machine Operator To perform the duties involved in the production of dry mix for the use of our customers both internal and external.  Duties include placing ingredients in mixer, monitoring automatic bagger and palletizer, operating hand bagger and stacking pallets. Oversees quality of finished product. Stacks bags of product on pallet plus positioning pallet. Labels product. Rotates between stations and assists in other departments or areas as necessary when directed by supervisor. Operates wrap machine, palletizers, box machines, and other production equipment. Maintain a good attendance record in order to meet production demands. Perform job duties in a manner that follows all safety guidelines including but not limited to proper lifting techniques, use of required PPE, Lockout/Tagout, Forklift, etc.  Report all unsafe conditions and behaviors to supervisor Perform job duties in a manner that follows all food safety, quality and legality guidelines including but not limited to GMP's, Glass Policy, QA Policy, Sanitation Policy, HACCP, etc.  Following these policies will ensure a quality product for our customers and consumers. Ability to perform job in a way that achieves production goals to meet customer demand. Work towards the goal of zero waste. Work as a member of a Dry Mix crew, support other members of the team when needed, provide guidance and support to new members of the team, become involved with the Safety Committee and the Food Safety Committee when called upon. The Quality Supervisor oversees Quality Lab functions to ensure compliance with all Company, industry, quality, food safety, and legality guidelines, such as HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points), GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), SPC (Statistical Process Control), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) in support of the plant’s Quality Assurance & Food Safety. Develop and maintain clear objectives for QA lab techs within the department under the supervisor’s influence and control. Monitor KPI’s for achieving results while fostering a safe working environment. Provide training and coaching which will allow each associate to perform at their best and deliver results in a continuous process improvement environment. Ensure all associates understand the vision of our company.   Purpose: The Quality Supervisor: Provide daily leadership to the Quality Lab Team and other departments as needed. Assist in the development, training, and implementation of process control procedures. Ensure that established process control procedures are followed throughout the plant. Support maintaining plant compliance to the HACCP Plan and quality systems programs. Conduct regular plant food safety and security audits. Participate and lead in Food Safety, Quality Reviews, HACCP Team Meetings and activities. Provide training to QA/QC and production associates on Food Safety, GMP requirements, SPC and process control, product evaluation, HACCP, and HACCP pre-requisite programs. Maintain daily product evaluation programs (scoring key quality indicators, shelf life studies, etc.). Actively participate in continuous improvement processes (root cause analysis, problem solving, complaint investigation, etc.) Audit the established process control checks (raw ingredients, WIP, finished product, and packaging) and pre-requite programs to ensure daily compliance. Maintain a record keeping system which provides immediate access to data and product records for a minimum of three years. Develop job opportunities for QA Leads and Lab Technicians through certificate programs, cross-training initiatives and setting clear objectives.   Skills/Work Experience: BS degree or equivalent in Food Science, Baking Science, Biology or related field Microbiological and sanitation experience, Highly Preferred Demonstrated ability to organize, supervise and direct a diverse work force Excellent organizational skills with a high degree of initiative, sense of urgency and flexibility Versed in scientific methodology, continuous improvement, statistical process control and other methodologies designed to reduce process variability Knowledgeable and experienced in food safety programs and policies, to include government regulations, FDA, GFSI, HACCP, GMP, and Allergen Program. Senior Project Manager, Capital Projects Travel- 40%+ POSITION SUMMARY: The Senior Project Manager, Capital Projects is a key member of the Supply Chain Support Center.  The Sr Project Manager will lead/execute and/or support the execution of key strategic initiatives, which may deliver productivity savings and service improvements. Summary: This position is responsible for filling, packing, and sealing product in accordance with process and quality standards so as to meet production schedules assigned. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Fill, pull and package product into clean containers, at the proper weight and label and date code correctly. Load and label pallets correctly. Distinguish acceptable product from unacceptable product. Start up and shut down operations for line. Documenting all required paperwork such as Batch Sheets and CCP forms. Achieve 100% daily schedule conformance. Limit down time and use time to prepare for more product or to pack and clean line. Downtime that is the result of mechanical failure, missing packaging, etc. should be reported to the lead or supervisor immediately.
