2nd Shift Dry Mix 101 Machine Operator To perform the duties involved in the production of dry mix for the use of our customers both internal and external.  Duties include placing ingredients in mixer, monitoring automatic bagger and palletizer, operating hand bagger and stacking pallets. Oversees quality of finished product. Stacks bags of product on pallet plus positioning pallet. Labels product. Be Brilliant.   Material Scheduler   Position Profile:   The Material Scheduler, reporting to the Senior Manager of Supply Planning, will support production scheduling and production management by creating purchase orders and coordinating raw materials and packaging for assigned production facility. Able to support other locations as needed through a solid understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) in an Enterprise Wide Requirements Planning (ERP) environment.   Position Description: Key Responsibilities: Reviewing the material requirements and issuing purchase orders to vendors for incoming goods for assigned plant(s) and co-manufacturers. Coordinating the shipment of raw materials between plant locations and co-manufacturers. Building and maintaining strong working relationships with Vendors to handle/resolve various issues to include order placements, ETA’s (estimated time arrivals), material defects, etc. Working closely with related department on raw material issues (purchasing, shipping, receiving, scheduling, etc.) Monitoring compliance with purchase order terms and conditions with respect to on time delivery and scheduled arrivals. (Shortages, damages, back orders, etc.) Generating and consistently reviewing inventory usage reports to minimize re-work due to the use of expired ingredients. Inventory forecasting for seasonal production runs. Requests cycle counts as needed to support inventory accuracy. Coordinates analysis of physical inventory and inventory levels for planning purposes. Manages storage capacity for raws and packs Maintain and investigate inventory adjustments including negative on-hand reports and other losses in the raw material inventories. Summary: This position is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the production equipment and plant facility in a conscientious and reliable manner, consistent with Company standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Performs preventative and repair maintenance on production equipment, ingredient handling systems, and office and plant facilities. Starts machines and equipment to test operation following repair. Records preventative maintenance tasks and work orders in timely manner. Troubleshoots various areas in the plant, including Frozen Department, Dry Mix Department, Tower, Basement, Compressor Room, and Boiler Room through regular inspection and test procedures. Maintains safe and efficient use of pneumatics, air compressors, air dryer operation, small tools, grinders, and welding equipment in performance of duties. Completes work orders and responds to maintenance calls on the Production Floor in timely manner. Inventories spare parts and reports usage; suggests re-orders to Manager. Performs basic repairs within office facility on furniture, lighting, paging system, etc. Maintains neat and orderly work area; properly maintains tools. Installing, maintaining, repairing, and overhauling production equipment. Troubleshooting identifying worn parts & rebuilding machine assemblies, pumps, meters, valves, valve actuators and other equipment. Start up and operate production machinery and equipment. Respond in a timely manner to calls at the production lines. Participation in facility maintenance and preventive maintenance programs. Safe handling and use of various chemicals with strict adherence to hazardous communication and MSDS requirements. The following are a plus:  repair on heating, cooling and plumbing systems.  Also performing sanitary welding on equipment and food processing piping and installing and maintaining electrical equipment/controls, circuits and PLC Broiler license a bonus Education and/or Experience High school diploma or equivalent and ability to read, speak and write English so as to assimilate, retain, and apply training and knowledge of job functions and recognize and communicate problems and recommended solutions Must have 3 or more years of related experience in a fast pace food or manufacturing plant.
