Where you'll work:
Our Greenville, MO location creates Condensed Natural Smoke and Cooking Method Flavors, in the Smoke and Grill business unit for Kerry customers and brands. This site has heavily invested in expanding operations and is looking to add to its team to keep things running smoothly!
What you'll do:
We're looking for a 1st shift technician to join our team, with the schedule of Monday-Friday, with flexibility as needed for weekends and future projects. We're looking for someone who is highly adept in both electrical and mechanical upkeep of equipment. You’ll work with the maintenance team to complete building repairs, equipment installation, troubleshooting and installation, fulfillment of assigned work orders and unforeseen repairs in a timely fashion. Our next team member will need to have a great attitude and will not only be able to showcase their knowledge, understanding, and demonstrated skillset, but also have a desire to share that expertise with the team to drive results and be successful overall! You’ll follow good manufacturing practices to maintain inventory, preventative maintenance, good housekeeping and ensure compliance with all safety and environmental laws and regulations. Attention to detail is neccessary for completing inventory and shift notes. We strongly believe in “Safety First, Quality Always” for our employees, products, and customers. Important areas of operations you’ll work on (but are not limited to): Clean and lubricate shafts, bearing, gears, and other parts of machinery Install and maintain pipe systems, hydraulic steam, pneumatic equipment Repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and other related equipment Building maintenance including minor plumbing, welding, and general upkeep 2560 HWY E, Greenville, MO 63944
What you'll need to be successful in this role:
High School Diploma or equivalent and some continuous education training/courses required Technical degree in maintenance related field or Journeyman license highly preferred 3 years' minimum experience as a maintenance mechanic in food/beverage/pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices, Sanitation and Safety standards for food manufacturing Must be adept in pipefitting, working with iron/copper/stainless steel/pvc Experience with and ability to use all types of welding, cutting, machine, and hand tools Experience in high speed packaging, conveyors, pneumatics PLC program writing is highly preferred, but general knowledge/experience with PLCs will suffice Desire to drive work order effencies will be greatly beneficial in this role Great attitude and willing to share your knowledge and skillset with others
