The QC lab technician will analyze samples throughout the process, finished products, and research samples to ensure the quality of the process and help improve operations within the facility. He/She must ensure the products meet the requirements.  This position requires a self-starter with the ability to learn quickly and manage a diverse workload. The candidate will be working in a manufacturing environment working closely with Process Operators and Engineers. This position works on a rotating 12 hour shift. 3 on 3 off rotating days to nights.    Daily activities will include analyzing samples received from the various process steps, testing final product against release specifications, and associated regulatory documentation. Work will also include minor repair, set-up, routine preventative maintenance, and calibration of instrumentation, preparation of standards, equipment validation, electronic data entry, as well as other routine laboratory tasks. Assistance with field instrument calibration, operation and troubleshooting will be expected.    Minimum of a 4 year college degree in chemistry, biology, biochemistry or related science field is required with more than 2 years analytical laboratory experience preferred.
