Mondelez International is looking for vacancy: Engineer I Biscuits Research Development and Quality Support in the stages of design, development, start of production and post launch of new products. In the same way, it is responsible for the evaluation and implementation of quality and cost improvements, as well as achieving consumer preference and improving the profitability of our products and/or processes. Guarantee the adequate protection of the information inherent to the design of the product and processes, as well as the protection of the intellectual property and confidential information of the company. Ensure compliance with all policies and quality systems related to the function. Main Responsibilities Act as R&D product leader on low and medium complexity projects, releasing raw material specifications, supplier development, lab and/or industrial trials, feasibility studies for project implementation at the facilities, supporting product development, margin management and quality improvement projects. Execute product development activities such as: lab analysis, pilot tests, samples production for consumer tests, in the lab or plant. Analyze the results of the laboratory and/or industrial tests with the R&D leaders/Manager in order to establish the specifications of the raw materials or finished product or in default of the next steps that apply according to the phase of development in execution. Support shelf-life studies required by the function, executing to sensory evaluations plan established. Participate in the meetings scheduled by the food safety team to prepare the preiminary HACCP required for to execute the plant trials. As a member of this team, jointly give recommendations in case of any problem related to food safety. Knowledge and application of Quality policies, implementing and assuring documents and procedures control on ISO 9001 and QCMS. Use specific systems such as: PPMS, e-QCMS, RnD Suite, ION, MasterData request to register projects, reports, resource allocation, specs and processes registration. Lead projects start-up of new products, margin management and quality improvement projects, considering R&D product responsibilities and scope. Be part of IIM teams (technologies and line definition, CQV plan, technical assessment) Qualifications Academic Knowledge Food Engineer, Chemical / Industrial Engineering, Bachelor of Food, Chemistry or related careers in the Food Industry with 2 years of the experience minimum. Abilities Basic knowledge in food processes and products. Desirable to have complementary courses of food ingredients and biscuits, as well as, sensory evaluation, applied statistics, design of experiments and analysis of process capacity.
