Reporting to the Sales Director, the Senior Sales Account Manager will be involved in developing, implementing and executing the Aroma Chemicals global sales strategy, in order to grow and develop business opportunities. This includes keeping and growing existing business with identified key accounts and searching and obtaining new sizable customers to achieve sales objectives and profitability objectives.
This role can be home-based anywhere in Europe (preferably Spain) with regular trips to our headquarters in Granada (Spain).
Responsibilities
Execute sales actions in line with the strategy
Efficient and positive communication with customers on all levels.
Visit to key clients
Keep updated on the main feedstock evolutions and market dynamics to adjust pricing.
Productive price and contract negotiation with clients within established margin.
Identify opportunities and develop them in line with the sales strategy
Manage distribution network
Timely monitor sales targets and implement corrective actions, if necessary
Establish sales budget for assigned clients /products
Manage a team
Qualifications
Fluency in English.
Some knowledge of Spanish or willingness to learn.
Other languages (German, French) would be an advantage.
Good negotiation skills
In depth knowledge of feedstock market (Gum Turpentine and Naphtha Derivatives), data analysis with regard to sales, cost, markets and customers development.
Team management experience
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent,
Min 6 years of relevant sales experience in the F&F Ingredients business, focus on Aroma Chemicals, dealing with global accounts.
Experience in aroma chemical business, chemical industry, specialty products or feedstock driven market
Experience in Essential Oils would be an advantage.
