Ingredion Incorporated is seeking a Corporate Facilities & Events Coordinator, to assist with the day-to-day operations/maintenance for their Corporate Headquarters office in Westchester, IL. You will be responsible for performing maintenance within the Facilities Department, Office Services, and the Reception Desk.

Are you a person that would enjoy performing the following duties?
Partner with the Sr. Manager, Corporate Facilities and Events for e day-to-day tasks necessary to ensuring a seamless employee experience
Change light bulbs; supervise the facility key cabinet, painting, furniture repairs, relocating employees to workstations/offices, etc.
Handle conference Room set-ups, Name tag replacement, Badging system (access cards).
Utilize the Key Duplicator Machine to create replacement and new keys
Address on-line “Maintenance Requests”
Perform repairs on all equipment and furnishings in a safe, quality, and workmanship-like manner in conformance with any related codes, guidelines or standards established by manufacture or regulating body. May include repairs to the following: workstations, offices, social hubs, break rooms, supply closets, common areas, chairs, doors, file cabinets, desks, etc.
Actively stay ahead of maintenance and repair issues
Ensure AED/First Aid equipment are in working order
Ensure that maintenance has cleaned break-rooms and conference rooms to meet company standards
Manage maintenance/repair requests for the conference rooms including chairs, walls, blinds, projectors, etc.
Inspect and repair of office and workstations
Conduct floor/wing inspections to ensure safety procedures are being followed
Facilitate safety training sessions for new hires and visitors
Collaborate often with internal & external partners
We are seeking an individual that has the following skills & experiences:
Bachelor’s Degree required within any field of study
2-5 years of relevant experience
Agility to interact with partners at all levels of the company
Advanced Knowledge of MS Office Word (mail merge), Excel, PowerPoint, and Badging/Access Card System (import photos).
Detail oriented and possess the ability to multitask
Willingness to work a flexible schedule when necessary
Handling minor repairs & maintenance --- savvy repair aptitude
Excellent verbal and written presentation skills
Highly organized and responsive
Customer focused with the desire to consistently exceed expectations
