Cargill’s Cocoa and Chocolate business is set to acquire Smet, a Belgium-based supplier of chocolate to the foodservice and confectionery markets. Beneo has inaugurated its new Belgium-based BioWanze plant for texturized wheat protein (TWP), in cooperation with fellow Südzucker Group subsidiary CropEnergies.
